Windy, sunny and others are adjectives, not adverbs. Not everything that ends in y is an adverb.
Thanks a lot, dear colleague, for a correction, though "sunny" can be an adverb too and in case of using "very funny"- it's an anderb too. Anyway it can be a good topic for a discussion with students.
